On XX/XX/XXXX, through XXXX XXXX, I was made aware of a hard credit inquiry made on my Transunion report around XX/XX/2023. Through my investigating I discovered an attempt to open an account with XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Transunion and they had me contact XXXX. XXXX had actually already sent this application to their fraud department because the address used did not match the address I have on file. I gathered they would work on taking this inquiry off of my credit report. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I have placed fraud alerts on all of the credit reporting companies and am trying to get the address removed that was used fraudulently. I also attempted to file a police report but they wouldn't let me since no money was taken.
