A representative from the company called me and when I called back because I didnt recognize the number stated they were calling me about a loan with mariner finance. I asked him was he sure he had the person and then just proceeded with the call. He stated he had a check I had for a loan and when I asked him to send he said they would but lets resolve the issue. I explained to him i and never heard of him or his company and he then stated they were on my credit report. I told him that was not correct and he then ran an inquiry on my credit report with out my permission. He stated I have given them pro mission and that was not the case because I have never heard of the company. When I told him I was recording the call he then hung up and they refused to answer my calls. I then pulled up my credit report and it was an inquiry for this company on my report. I tried calling them several times and they just sent me to voice mail.
