XX/XX/XXXX - I, XXXX XXXX, opened a loan with PNC Bank XXXX XXXX of {$100000.00} for 216 months at given interest rate of 5.8 % at a payment of {$740.00} XX/XX/XXXX - I received mail from PNC Bank stating " we discovered your fixed rate lock established on XX/XX/XXXX, did not receive the correct interest rate, As a result, you were overcharged interest. Your fixed interest rate has since been lowered to 5.220 %. '' XX/XX/XXXX - PNC mailed to say they credited my account for overcharging interest - a credit in the amount of XXXX was applied to my principal balance. A 216 month XXXX loan of {$100000.00} at 5.220 % should result in a payment of ~ {$710.00}. I have contacted PNC many times to find out what will happen to my load going forward. They refused to answer and provide resolution to providing me with a lower monthly payment
