Experian will only give accurate updated info if you pay a membership fee! Experian report shows completely inaccurate info despite burying the correct info in the credit card balances Example today I recieved an email that there was a decrease in my score. Suprised I looked at the Experian app The over view showed a score that was XXXX points less than XXXX and XXXX It showed a debt 4x more than I owed so I looked on their app at my individual credit card debt. On their own site it states the info is correct as of today but their over view showed 4 % credit usage when the actual credit cards were less than 1 %. They dropped my score when it should have increased. Called Experian and explained they saw the same numbers and said. I COULD GET ACCURATE UPDATED INFORMATION IF I PAID THEIR MEMBERSHIP FEE. XXXX and XXXX are providing updated accurate info without a membership fee. Im my opinion. Experian is extorting money from consumers by having a membership program and they are deliberately posting inaccurate information when claiming to be giving as of today info
