Consumer Narrative
Received a collection letter claiming to owe {$260.00} to XXXX XXXX. This is the second time this collection has been attempted. Letter is attached. The debt is not correct. I do not owe this money. When the first collection agency contacted me I called XXXX XXXX and verified the bill had been paid in full. XXXX assured me they would take care of the collection activity. They did not take care of the collection activity and I now find myself having to deal with another demand notice from a different collection agency.
