Transunion continues to violate my rights under the FCRA. I am the victim of Identity theft and have complied with actions requested my TU and the financial institution that the fraudulent loan was taken out with. I have provided TU with a statement of the ID theft, ID verifying documents, FTC Identity theft report, and a police report of the fraud. Yet the account and late payments continue to remain on my report. Transunion is in complete violation of FCRA 605B. I have filed a police report supporting the facts set forth in my FTC declaration. This states the CRA is under a MANDATORY requirement to block this report from my credit report immediately in the receipt of a police report containing a sworn statement about the fraud. If TU continues to do so, I will be forced to consider legal action against TU as this information being on my report is a violation of my rights and harming my ability to seek credit.
