On XX/XX/2023, I contacted Capital One to do a Pay for Delete for a charged off credit card. The rep stated that Capital One does not do Pay for Deletes. I asked the rep what were my options. The rep stated that I could make full payment or do a settlement. The original amount of the charge off is {$5200.00}. The first amount the rep asked me to do was {$3900.00} and I said no. Then, the next amount was {$3200.00} and I again said no. We finally agreed to settle the amount for {$2800.00} and paid for as agreed. I asked the rep to please send that agreement by email or by mail. The rep stated that Capital One doesn't do that and they only send it after payment. I told the rep again that I was requesting the settlement agreement in writing before I make a payment. The rep again stated Capital One doesn't do that.
