This is my third dispute. XXXX is still reporting inaccurate information to Transunion which is causing great financial hardship to me and my family. I submitted my initial dispute via the CFPB regarding this illegal reporting to my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX. on XX/XX/XXXX Transunion responded to my CFPB complaint stating that the account was " updated and verified ''. However, after further investigation into the matter, I have discovered that the Account Status has not been updated to " Account in Dispute ''. Failure to properly report is a violation of FCRA law. Section 623 of the FCRA and Regulation V generally provide that a furnisher must not furnish inaccurate consumer information to a CRA, and that furnishers must investigate a consumers dispute that the furnished information is inaccurate or incomplete. A proper investigation has not been conducted, it has been almost 60 days since the initial dispute and this is causing great hardship to my family. Please delete XXXX XXXX ( account XXXX ) from my credit profile as it has been illegally reporting negatively on my credit report for years now. I have attached a copy of my credit report proving that the " account status '' has not been updated to " account currently in dispute '' as per XXXX 's initial response. This is a violation.
