In XXXX, I turned in my BMW XXXX months early to upgrade to new lease. XXXX XXXX, the XXXX, from BMW XXXX XXXX, offered to pay my last XXXX months XXXX and new lease would start in XXXX. We signed the deal. Approx around XXXX I started to receive collection calls stating I owed {$380.00} from BMW Financial XXXX They never fully explained what the {$380.00} was for. I explained that Manager, XXXX XXXX BMW XXXX XXXX paid XXXX months of my lease so I could upgrade and start new lease. I began to contact both XXXX ( my salesmen ) and XXXX XXXX and BMW XXXX XXXX. They submitted proof to BMW Financial that this was paid. I continued to receive calls and I continued to refer them back to XXXX and send them his correspondence with me. Finally, the calls stopped. In XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call and explained to the man on the phone and I said I can send proof. He said it wasn't necessary and that I should just pay it. That it would be easier to pay it. I said no, I do not owe you that money. In later XX/XX/XXXX, BMW financial reported this amount to my credit and marks it as late every month. I did a dispute in the XXXX app and send all the information again from XXXX XXXX XXXX and correspondence and they denied my claim. This whole thing doesn't seem legal and is shocking that BMW would treat an 8 year loyal customer with impeccable lease payment history like this. They also never fully explained the {$380.00} amount, my lease payments were much higher than this. This should've been handled between BMW financial and BMW XXXX XXXX. Here is a copy of XXXX of XXXX XXXX 's messages to me Like I mentioned in yesterday email, we made XXXX payments from XXXX to XXXX on your behalf and since your lease ends in XXXX, XXXX does not require you to make the XXXX payment. You need to find out what payment BMWFS is asking for. Hoping for immediate resolution and my credit to be mended ASAP.
