I have an incorrect debt that has been reporting on my credit report for over a year that was paid by credit card insurance. Although the debit was paid it is reporting as not paid and the original creditor ( FingerHut ) sold it to another company ( Resurgent ). I have contacted both companies several times and submitted proof and the issue is still not resolved. It has impacted my credit and lifestyle as I have had to pay high percentage fees because of my credit score and not qualified for credit cards or loans. I have submitted proof to the creditors as well as the credit bureaus multiple times. None of which took any action to remove the fraudulent report. I would like to move forward with a complaint and legal action as well as to be compensated for the suffering of the fraudulent misrepresentation on my credit reports.
