My mortgage was transferred from XXXX to Lakeview several months ago. Now, all of a sudden, after I am no longer employed Lakeview starts tacking on additional fees that they claim came from the previous company. If that is so, why wait so long to add the fees to the account. The representative that I spoke with on XX/XX/XXXX did not even know what it was. She had to research & try to make it be my responsibility to research it. How is it my responsibility when it was not my responsibility when the loan was transferred. I was not asked my opinion then, but thats neither here nor there. It seems unfair & deceptive a violation of UDAAP fir them to just decide to tack on additional fees after months of me paying my loan with them. The representative advised that the fees are not hurting me, but they are if I am getting charged interest. Furthermore, their automated system is also misleading. I processed my regular monthly payment on XX/XX/XXXX. The automated system told me when they had received my last payment & what I was due for XXXX. I call back today after processing the payment on XX/XX/XXXX which should have gone for XXXX, only to find out that I still owe for XXXX. The young lady today XXXX, advised that my previous payment went toward principal only, which I did not advise, neither did their system advise or the previous representative that I spoke with on XX/XX/XXXX. It just seems does not seem right.
