I sent in letters to Experian about incorrect information on my credit report. I sent the documents certified mail. I received a letter from the XX/XX/23 that stated they would not go forward with my investigation because they didn't think it was me that authorized the letters. I called the Experian on XX/XX/23 and told them I have full knowledge of the letters because I sent them in and I want to go forward with the investigation. I waited a couple of days and called them back XX/XX/23. They told me that they had not received my documents. I told them I sent the letters in certified and I could verify the letters were delivered. The representee then told me she still could not find my information and that I had gotten the response from them in the mail because they didn't think I sent the letters in but also told me because I received that response from them that any information or documents I sent mail was discarded. Wow had me in and uproar, certified mail is expensive. She then gave me information to an upload portal { www.experianXXXX XXXX and had me upload my letters again. I was so frustrated because I knew they received the letters. I called today XX/XX/23 to check the status of my investigation. Before I got to speak with the representative XXXX I was hung up on three different times. XXXX then told me the original documents that I sent in certified mail were there from the beginning and she didn't know why the former rep would tell me otherwise and also told me that the investigation has not been started yet. As a consumer I'm so disappointed in how Experian is handling my investigation. I am considering getting my attorney involved.
