In XX/XX/XXXX, I inadvertently deposited a check from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and made payable to XXXX XXXX in the amount of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and XXXX/XXXX ( {$2900.00} ) Dollars into my personal checking account with Capital One. I am the owner of XXXX XXXX, a Rhode Island XXXX XXXX XXXX. I inadvertently deposited the check into his personal Capital One account instead of his business account. Funds were not available at any point after the deposit and CapitalOne froze my account. I immediately called Capital One and was provided a case number. The case number is XXXX. I called customer service several times referencing the Case Number and was told they were investigating the issue. In XX/XX/XXXX, my account opening balance was XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and XXXX/XXXX ( {$3000.00} ) Dollars ; however, on or before XX/XX/XXXX, Capital One withdrew all funds and the account balance was XXXX and XXXX/XXXX ( {$0.00} ) Dollars. The funds were not returned to me and my account was closed by Capital One. I called customer service referencing the Case Number again and was told by Capital One that they could no longer talk to me about it because my account was closed.
