I was a victim of identity theft over 3 years ago. I filed an FTC affidavit and got most everything removed that was fraudulent from my report. Saturday 2 of the same accounts reappeared as collections from XXXX XXXX. I contacted experian and was hung up on twice from one of the representatives. When I finally got some one to listen to me she said that this could take up to 30 days. There is no reason that I should have to wait 30 days when per FTC the creditor isnt allowed to sell my debt due to identity theft. This collection agency isnt legally able to report on my credit report. My next step is to take legal action because this could be further detrimental to my credit which Ive worked so hard to restore since this happened. Please remove this from my account as it is causing undue anguish and stress.
