In XX/XX/2023 I emailed Ally Bank, regarding my auto loan, asking for my payoff amount on my auto loan. Their customer service agents are bullies on the phone and not to be trusted. I received a letter, in the mail, from Ally dated XXXX XXXX, 2023. It gave me a payoff amount and further stated that it should be paid on or before XXXX XXXX, 2023. I paid this amount, in full, as instructed on XX/XX/2023. So I receive another letter from Ally dated XXXX XXXX, 2023. It states that I still owe on this loan account. Isn't the amount given in the first letter binding? Please see attachments below.
