I submitted a formal complaint to Lexis Nexis asking them to verify the bankruptcy on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX case # XXXX filed XX/XX/XXXX that is on my profile with them they sent me a letter stating they verified the bankruptcy with a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX. I understand according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 U.S.C. 1681g Section 609 they are to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, any and all accounts that you post on a credit profile also I understand Lexis Nexis directly owned by XXXX which makes them " affiliated ''. As such, anytime an affiliate shares/furnishes information, with the FCRA right to privacy as a consumer, they are supposed to notify you before they furnish any information granting you the option to opt out and they didn't. Lexis Nexis is getting that information from a 3rd party XXXX and furnishing that information to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX without permissible purpose 604 15 U.S.C. 1681b.
