My identity was used to get a credit in XXXX from Midland Credit Management and the XXXX XXXX Department just sent me email about it for the first time XX/XX/XXXX. I was told I'm owing a balance of {$1800.00}, which was used to purchase something from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I called the XXXXXXXX XXXX yesterday and let them know I know nothing about this whole transaction and it's identity theft. I told them know my ex wife may likely be responsible for this without my consent. Just the same way she did during pandemic, which I filed fraud report with bank XXXX XXXX and police, and i have docuuments and case number to each. The agent I spoke with from XXXX Collections Department advised me to report it under federal trading commission and the will also flag it fraud on their side, so proper investigation can be done
