My younger sister went to the XXXX XXXX XXXX store back in XXXX to return an XXXX as she was switching over to XXXX XXXX XXXX. The employees there took the phone, closed her account & told her she can go without giving her a receipt. She asked for one and they told her she does not need to worry about that. That is where the problem started. had to go to XXXX in XXXX because of an overcharge made to my account ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX FL XXXX XXXX ) and was told by an agent on the phone that the XXXX was never returned & that I owe {$720.00}. I told her & it was been returned & that the associate stated there was nothing due on my account. I was also told that matter was resolved & it would not affect my credit so I do not need to worry about anything. Fast forward to a month & a half ago : my younger sister contacted XXXX in regarding her old phone number ; the agent assisted her but then stated there was a balance for the XXXX once again. We both told the agent AGAIN, that matter was been resolved. She ( the agent ) said she will remove the amount from the closed account. Yesterday I checked my mail & see a letter sent by Source Receivables Management that my XXXX account has a balance of {$780.00}. I am very frustrated as I have been told multiple times that the amount of {$720.00} was removed, & the fact that the phone was returned ( which was REQUIRED in order to close the account ). I would like for this issue to be resolved as soon as possible. I also see that this is very common with XXXX still charging previous customers for phones that have been returned.
