I CURRENT, HAVE A CREDIT CARD WITH NAVY FEDERAL, FOR ABOUT 1 YEAR NOW. I HAVE NEVER MISSED ANY PAYMENTS, THE DUE DATE FOR MY PAYMENTS ARE ON THE XXXX OF EVERY MONTH. ON XX/XX/XXXX, I CALLED IN TO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT TO MAKE A PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE, WHICH THEY ACCEPTED ... FOUR DAYS LATER, I WAS TOLD BY NAVY FEDERAL THAT MY PAYMENT WAS REJECTED BECAUSE I WAS USING AN EXTERNAL BANK ACCOUNT, SO I WOULD NEED TO USE THEIR RECOMMENDED 3RD PARTY ( XXXX ) TO MAKE THE PAYMENT - WHICH I DID AND THE PAYMENT WAS MADE FOR {$94.00} DOLLARS ON XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX SENT IN A CHECK FOR {$20.00} DOLLARS WHICH NAVY FEDERAL USE TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT, BUT I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REMAINING {$74.00} DOLLARS. i JUST CHECKED MY CEDIT REPORT AND NOTICED NAVY FEDERAL REPORTED ME 30 DAYS LATE FOR MISSED PAYMENT FOR THE MONTH OF XXXX, WHICH LOWERED MY CREDIT SCORE BY XXXX POINTS. WHEN I CALLED UP TO NAVY FEDERAL AND SPOKE TO SEVERAL REPS, THEY ALL CONFIRMED THEY SAW WHERE I MADE THE PAYMENT ON THE XXXX & ON THE XXXX BUT THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY ONLY {$20.00} DOLLARS WAS CREDITED TO MY ACCOUNT.
