This is my 5th attempt to write to dispute the following information in my file. I recently received a copy of my TransUnion credit report. The credit report STILL showed credit inquiries that I don't recall authorizing. Not only do I have identity theft and fraud alerts set, but I have my credit locked so that I am to be contacted PRIOR to any credit authorization or credit application. I have disputed with TransUnion multiple times, by phone, fax, and email, which included verifying my identity and sending proof from the credits they had no knowledge or records of me. I understand that you shouldn't be allowed to put an inquiry on my file unless I have authorized it. Please have this inquiry removed from my credit file because it is making it very difficult for me to acquire credit. The FCRA states that the only permissible purpose for pulling someone's credit is for : A.
