On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a past due notice in the amount of {$1600.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX University for past due charges on my student account. I paid these charges directly to the university, the original creditor, on XX/XX/XXXX. After I had paid the debt, I received a collections notice from Coast Professional Inc. ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX ) for the account in collections. Coast Professional ceased any further collection on the debt but has refused to remove the collection account from my credit report. They had no involvement in the transactional process with the original creditor nor at any time prior to the debt being paid did I have any communication with their agency. Their posting of this collection to my credit report is fraudulent and they have refused to delete the account despite multiple disputes directly with the agency and the credit bureaus.
