I had a business checking account that went sideways. The account was closed and there was an outstanding balance of roughly {$2500.00}. This was paid in full last month at a local branch and I was told that this would satisfy the account and the negative reporting would be removed/reversed. I have since tried opening accounts with Wells Fargo and other banks and was declined - Since the negative reporting is still in effect. I have talked to two reps at Wells Fargo who basically stated the " I can never bank with Wells Fargo again. '' But this is not I was told in person at the branch. Please advise!
