Late last year I noticed some incorrect information on my credit report. I took the time to contact the Credit reporting agencies to correct all misinformation but to no avail did that happen. I was notified to contact the company of Lexis Nexis to correct any and all instances of misinformed data that they were providing. I contacted Lexis Nexis approximately 3 times to rectify the situation and not once did they do all that was instructed of them. Their " investigation '' was not correct. I asked them to remove all names, addresses, phone numbers, and emails not associated to me. On my second request I received a report dated XX/XX/2023 in which my report went from 96 incorrect names and addresses that was on their XX/XX/2023 report to 20 incorrect names and addresses. They still had not removed all of the wrong information. I then sent them a dispute stated that my information was still incorrect. I received a report dated XX/XX/2023, and it shows they added 25 incorrect names and addresses. I'm reaching out today to ask the CFPB to uphold my rights. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 ( A ) 2 : ... states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. I have repeatedly asked that this information be updated but in no way shape or form has anything happened the way I asked. I also have opted out of all the secondary credit furnishing companies including Lexis Nexis.
