Hello, This is the second time we have turned in a vehicle to Hyundai and had issues. This time, first we got a letter saying we turned in our vehicle early and therefore it was going to auction and we would be responsible for the difference which likely was going to be $ XXXX. Was absolutely not correct. Next we were told there was damage to the car and that we owed them money. I have a long video of me walking around the car in detail at the dealership due concerns over past issues. I also paid for the damage insurance and had the car serviced at the dealership less than a month before turn in when it received a clean bill of health. The images used to show the damage, never showed the whole car to validate it was my vehicle, which it could not have been as mine was not damaged. They also want to charge me for not getting a new car, which I did and financed thru them. When I try and tell them that, they just seem to ignore the comment. I keep getting a bill for {$850.00}. I have excellent credit and have had for years. All payments are made autopay as is for my new car. I love Hyundai cars, but HMFUSA is a just a joke. I talked to them on the phone numerous times and finally said I wanted to go to arbitration which was in accordance with a document they made me sign when I got the lease. All issues would go to arbitration. I said that I wanted arbitration verbally on three different calls which I was told were being recorded, sent them two registered letters and still it has not happened and now the debt is on my credit report. I see they were fined just last year for bad behavior and I think they should be fined again. They are abusing their position and need to get their house in order or continue to face fines and penalty payouts until they do.
