On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Exeter Finance to receive a lien release statement bc my title is no longer in my possession and a document is needed from the DMV. The DMV will not create a duplicate unless a lien release document is provided. EF stated that would submit the request for the document and I would receive in 24-48 hours. Here we are on XXXX I have not received any documents. I call them again to receive an update and now they are saying they do not have to provide this to me. My account is paid off and Exeter Finance refuses to provide this document to me.
