I ordered prescription sunglasses from XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX for {$320.00}. After a long delay the safety glasses finally were shipped XX/XX/XXXX. When I received them they were defective and not functional. The model I ordered ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) comes with a foam facial seal that installs into the frame of the glasses. The ones I received were made with lenses too large for the foam facial seal to install. I contacted XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and asked if they could remake the glasses so that the foam facial seal could be installed. They admitted there was a defect in my pair of glasses and sent me a return shipping label. I shipped the glasses back and USPS marked them as delivered on XX/XX/XXXX. After contacting them several times and not getting any expected ship date for the remade glasses, I requested a refund on XXXX. After waiting over a week I initiated a chargeback with Discover on XX/XX/XXXX. Only after this chargeback was initiated did XXXX XXXX XXXX issue a refund, however this refund was only for 50 % of my order total ( {$160.00} ) citing that they had a 50 % restocking fee. After XXXX XXXX XXXX issued the 50 % refund, Discover decided the dispute against me. Discovered state that even though XXXX XXXX XXXX sent me defective sunglasses, they would not go against XXXX XXXX XXXX policy decision to only refund me 50 %. I am now left out {$160.00} despite receiving defective sunglasses and returning them to the seller. I feel it is wrong that a company can send out defective products to customers and pocket over a XXXX dollars. I tried working with the seller so that they could correct the problem and send me functional sunglasses but they failed to deliver in a timely manner.
