I have made multiple futile attempts to dispute the fraudulent items with you. Your correspondence stated that the account in question " WAS PREVIOUSLY INVESTIGATED. '' I diligently accessed my Credit report through your respective websites and obtained copies of the information pertaining to : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Balance : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Original Creditor : PROGRESSIVE ) XXXX Balance : {$240.00} U.SXXXX Bankruptcy Court XXXX XXXX bankruptcy Reference # : XXXX. Under 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( a ), it is mandated that upon receiving a dispute, each consumer reporting agency must conduct a free reinvestigation, accurately record the current status of the disputed information, or remove the item from the file within 30 days. This timeframe commenced on the date the dispute was received, and unless the account is deemed frivolous or irrelevant, there has been no indication that my dispute falls under these categories. Yet, the item continues to persist on my file with a mere last investigation.
