I originally had my mortgage with XXXX XXXX starting on XX/XX/XXXX. My loan was sold to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a letter from XXXX stating that my XXXX mortgage payment was to be to them and not XXXX. I paid my XXXX and every payment after to XXXX on time. XXXX did not update my account to show my loan was no longer active with them. They then reported my account delinquent for XXXX and XXXX. This action caused my credit score to plummet XXXX points. My credit score was XXXX before this happened, I worked hard to get it to that point. I opened a dispute with Transunion about this error on XX/XX/XXXX. I sent the letter I received from XXXX as documentation for the dispute. It was not corrected. I called XXXX and they refused to send me a letter to say my account was closed and was not delinquent. I opened another dispute on XX/XX/XXXX. I called and emailed XXXX and they finally sent a letter stating that follows : A review has been made to past reporting of your account to the credit bureaus. The review was specific to the following and the actions taken regarding the discrepancies are identified : Dispute : The Borrower is requesting negative reporting for XX/XX/XXXX to be removed and update loan as service released as of XX/XX/XXXX Review Findings : The Loan was reported late for XX/XX/XXXX due to a delay in the XXXX system to update loan as service released Corrective Action Taken : A correction was submitted to the credit bureaus on XX/XX/XXXX nd XXXX to update the loan as serviced released and removed negative reporting for XX/XX/XXXX from the borrowers account. To obtain a status with the credit bureaus in regards to this correction, you may use the AUD Control Number : XXXX ; which is the reference number associated with the correction. The delinquency was not corrected. It still says my account was 30 days late and this will stay on my credit report until XX/XX/XXXX. I have opened yet another dispute on XX/XX/XXXX. I called XXXX and they said they have responded to Transunion and have made the correction. The dispute is supposed to be resolved by XX/XX/XXXX. This has taken time and energy and a mental toll on me to get this corrected. I feel this error was not taken as serious as the consequences it caused me with my credit. I feel the representatives at XXXX and Transunion did not take the proper steps to have my account corrected quickly and with good customer service. I do not feel like this resolution was a priority and it should not have happened in the first place. This has caused my undue stress and frustration.
