My credit report has a collection on it that is false in every way. The claim is made by Jefferson Capital System XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, MN. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was opened by me on XX/XX/XXXX and charged off on XX/XX/XXXX, over three years ago. Jefferson has put on my credit report that I opened on XX/XX/XXXX and the account is still open, this is not true. They are stating I owe {$690.00}, also false, when in fact the original amount was {$300.00}. and charged off by original creditor. Further more I have seen no paperwork, statements, or any other correspondence from Jefferson Capital at all. I only noticed this as it was on my credit report as of XX/XX/XXXX. The info they have placed on my report as debt collection, open account is false, and I need this removed.
