Loan is five months from being paid off however the wrench symbol has begin to show on the dash. Have been told by the Ford dealerships that such light indicates a problem with the transmission in my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have contacted each dealer in the city and fifty mile radius to have the issue evaluated but all require that you leave the car with them for a period of 11 to 14 days. While the mileage on my vehicle is only XXXX, the warranty will expire in XX/XX/XXXX. The cost to rent a car of {$500.00} per week. They don't provide a loner. Contacted Ford Customer Service which told me they would send me contact for Ford warranty but that has not happen. If the light indeed indicates transmission issues, my vehicle will be worthless and I will be without transpiration. It is grossly unfair and unreasonable to require someone to spend almost a XXXX dollars just to have their vehicle receive service of not be able to received a specific date to receive service.
