I have been current on my car loan for well over a year. I called in on XX/XX/XXXX to make a payment and the payment was declined by the servicing company. I asked why they are refusing my payment and Exeter explained that my car loan had been charged off. I asked why and no one was able to tell me why. I was placed on hold in excess of 35 minutes and eventually they hung on me. I placed several calls over several weeks and was able to get the Vice President of the Charge off dept. on the line and he explained my loan was charged off in Error. My payments were still declined, and I was asked to allow them time to correct this in their system. It took them until XX/XX/XXXX to get this corrected in their system. I was Offred a XXXX extension to cover the XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX payment. They begin to accept my payments as of XX/XX/XXXX and was paid on time, However Exeter reported to my credit report that I was over 30 days delinquent when they refused my payments for 2 months Straight!
