The alleged original debt was from XXXX for collection of services on an account that had been closed prior. The debt was assigned to Sequium Asset Solutions , LLC in 2022. I immediately contacted Sequium Asset Solutions, on XX/XX/2022, in writing to provide proof that the account had been closed on XXXX informed them that the servicer XXXX XXXX ) was trying to collect for services not rendered after the date of the closed account. I provided email confirmation of the closed account. Instead of responding to my request to correct the mistake, Sequium did not respond and instead assigned the alleged debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/2022, I contested the debt again with Convergent. I did not receive a response. Now, it seems as though XXXX has assigned the item to XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX has NOT provided me with any necessary paperwork to date. I was alerted to this through my credit bureau. I am again contesting the validity of the debt and request prompt action in correcting the mistake. Each company has reported incorrectly to multiple credit bureaus. I request help and demand that each company correct their records AND work to remove any derogatory marks created on my credit report as a result. I also request confirmation that the matter is closed.
