At the end of our auto lease, we received a bill from Nissan to collect the personal property tax bill they paid, but it included time after the car lease had been terminated. We called several times and repeatedly were told the issue was being investigated and that once it was determined how much we owed, we would receive an updated bill. We never received a bill or any follow-up attempts from Nissan to let us know what we owe and give us an opportunity to pay them. Today, I received a collections notice for the amount owed from XXXX. After the several follow-up attempts in early XXXX, we followed the guidance provided to wait for the updated bill to arrive, which we never received.
