In XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX in XXXX, AL sent me a check in the mail in the amount of {$600.00}. If I agreed to the terms of the loan, I was to deposit the check into my bank account to activate the loan which is what I did since I was agreeable to the terms. I paid this loan in full which is reflected on my credit report as favorable. I find out much later that there is negative reporting on my credit reports from all three credit bureaus for an additional loan that I supposedly took out in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX and never repaid it. They also reported that I took out the loan in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX and that date of first delinquency was XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted them to let them know that this was not my loan and that I paid my loan in full. I have disputed this many times with no resolution. I even obtained a police report to attest to this fact but XXXX XXXX still refuses to remove it from my credit reports. I was told by the credit bureaus that I needed to file a complaint with this agency to have credit bureaus remove this from my credit reports once and for all which is why I am now filing this complaint.
