In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act. The List of accounts below has violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 1681. XXXX XXXX # XXXX, has violated my rights. on my Experian credit report ran XX/XX/2023 shows a late payment from XXXX XXXX for XX/XX/2023. I reached out to XXXX XXXX directly and ask as of goodwill to please remove the late payment. Which I received a letter back saying they are unable to change their reporting on a courtesy basis. I submitted a CFPB Complaint XX/XX/2023 requesting for the late fee to be removed. Experian respond back saying their records indicated that the accounts mentioned are showing up as an open and current account with no late payments reporting. That is incorrect as my report does in fact show a late payment for XX/XX/2023. Per my credit report Experian removed the late fee XX/XX/2023 but the late fee was later put back on my credit report. Which current the late fee for XX/XX/2023 is now showing on my report. Based on law. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1666B : A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose
