Refund related to XXXX Honda Property Tax for a car that was sold in XXXX. I had leased a car with Honda in XXXX and had registered with KY license plate. In XX/XX/XXXX I sold my vehicle to a XXXX car dealer in the state of California with all the settlements. In XXXX, I did not hear from Honda Financial services or from the state of Kentucky for any property tax due. In XX/XX/XXXX, I got a letter from Honda Financial services that a property tax of {$210.00} was due for the XXXX. In the month of XX/XX/XXXX I called the KY department of motor vehicle and closed the license plate for my XXXX Honda XXXX and as per suggestion from them I opened a case with Honda financial for a refund of the tax amount for an already sold car. It has been almost 9 months and the refund has still not been processed. I have called the Honda financial services numerous times and they had promised to update me with the status of the refund. Since XX/XX/XXXX I did not hear back from them and each time I call the customer service a new associate picks up and confirms they are not aware of the case. It is becoming a challenge for me to get a refund as Honda Financial services is not assisting in any way.
