My parent plus student loan provider was recently changed by the US Department of Education from XXXX XXXX to XXXX. I did not request this change. The loan was transferred without my consent, apparently they can change providers as they deem appropriate. My score dropped XXXX points in one day due to the account being CLOSED. Ill get dinged again when the new lender reports a NEW account. This is not accurate reporting and the XXXX credit score model is obviously flawed. Im being penalized for a decision the US Government made for me ; or their loan servicing providers did. There has been no change in the amount due on the loan. It was a loan serviced change only. Not a closed or new account.
