Hello, I purchased some floor tiles from XXXX XXXX XXXX. To make this purchase I opened a new XXXX XXXX XXXX credit account which is actually a credit account thru XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, OH XXXX XXXX Account # XXXX The tiles that I purchased were delivered broken and some were unusable. I contacted the merchant for weeks to attempt to resolve the issue but they refused to provide replacement tiles to me. As such I mailed their company a letter informing them I would not pay any balance due until the matter is resolved. I then contacted XXXX XXXX by letter informing them I disputed the entire balance due and that I wanted them to communicate to the merchant that I was refusing to pay the balance because they had not delivered all the tiles as promised. This was in XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. I waited three months for a reply from XXXX XXXX only to be told they never received my dispute in the mail and that I needed to start over and send all of my information again. In XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX I provided XXXX XXXX all of the documents again including my explanation letter describing my dispute and the bank acknowledged they now posses my dispute. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XXXX has still not resolved this matter however XXXX XXXX has started reporting late payments to the three credit reporting agencies and my credit score is dropping drastically. It has been over 6 months since I first disputed this issue with the bank and it is totally unfair that they have yet to resolve this matter. I have provided them clear photographic evidence that the tiles were broken, this should be an open and shut case in my favor. I need assistance getting XXXX XXXX to finally act and resolve my dispute. I should also mention I have used the tools the credit agencies provide to dispute this account on my credit report but they always just indicate the account information is accurate and do nothing. The information *is not accurate and I do not actually think any real attempt is being made to rectify this issue by the three credit reporting agencies.
