I have reported this XXXXXXXX XXXX credit card account to Equifax because it has been reporting inaccuracies for years and the issue was never taken care of. This account is reporting a positive and current payment history, but it states the date of last activity and last payment was made in XX/XX/XXXX. It is also reporting as a collection/charge off, but has been reporting a positive payment history until XX/XX/XXXX. It is also reporting a high balance, but does not have a credit limit which can not be possible. How can this continue when it states under 15 U.S. Code 1681i - that If after a reinvestigation of any information disputed by a consumer, an item of information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or can not be verified the consumer reporting agency must promptly delete that item of information from the file of the consumer, or modify that item of information to reflect the results of the reinvestigation?
