My wife and I were on a mortgage forbearance because of Covid 19. This ended in XXXX and I received a letter stating that our first payment is due XX/XX/XXXXXXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I called Amerihome to make a payment and was told that they will withdraw the money that day from my checking account, hold the funds and then apply the funds on XX/XX/XXXX for my XXXX payment. This is not what happened. They applied my XXXX payment to XXXX even though I didn't owe a payment for XXXX. Now because they screwed up, my payments are a month behind I am getting hit with late fees and and a process server came to my house to serve me papers from Amerihome for non payment. I have been on the phone for hours trying to resolve this issue and I am getting nowhere. I called last week to request a written copy of all my past correspondence with Amerihome and was told I should get a copy by email within a few days. Its been over a week now and I have nothing.
