I made a payment on XX/XX/XXXX that would equal two months of payment. But on XX/XX/XXXX I decided to go ahead and simply pay the balance so I had no more additional monthly payments to make. That information was not updated on my credit report and so I filed a dispute to have it corrected. The information was corrected on my report and it remained corrected for only 3 days. It automatically, for some reason, reverted back to the balance owed before I made the two payments. I contacted both the company and XXXX about the dispute not correcting the error and follow that up with another dispute. XXXX close that dispute within a couple of days and said that it was investigated and the information was correct. I have XXXX XXXX statement showing the payments I also have a statement from the company showing the balance of XXXX and XXXX refuses to fix it it is affecting my credit score to the point that I was denied a new card.
