I submitted three credit disputes to Equifax credit services the first ( dispute # XXXX ) being on XXXX advising them that various accounts have been paid and that they need to update them. I received notification from their company on XXXX stating that they've updated four of the creditors has been updated but not the others. I reached out to the creditors in question just to verify and to be sure that they were reflecting paid. I was advised by creditors in question that the accounts were in fact paid and was reported as such. After learning of this, I took the time to file another online dispute ( dispute # XXXX ) through Equifax 's website again on XXXX. This time around, I attached proof of payments obtained from the creditors in question. I received an electronic notification from Equifax on XXXX stating that the creditors are reporting accurately. I reached to Equifax by phone on XXXX. I spoke with two representatives ( first rep placed me on hold for 40 minutes and never came back to phone ). The second rep that I spoke with assured me that the two accounts in question had been updated and corrected. I gave it a few days and decided to check my credit file, only to find that the same two credit items are still being reported incorrectly and still haven't been updated. Meanwhile, XXXX and XXXX were able to verify, correct, and updated the same information well over a month ago. I reached back out to Equifax by phone on today XXXX, and was advised by rep that the items in question have NOT been updated in spite of the numerous phone calls and request, along with proof of payment that I've submitted. He told me that his name was XXXX and that he rep number was XXXX. He advised that all he could do was to submit another dispute ( dispute # XXXX ) and that it could take another 30 days to get a resolution. Left with no other option, and being totally frustrated with the situation, I had to come to your corporation to file this complaint. This entire situation is impacting me negatively and is discriminatory. I am SERIOUSLY considering pursuing legal action against Equifax. I am sure that if they're doing this to me, that there are others that they are doing this to as well. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that you might have.
