On XX/XX/ Identity theft report was received by TransUnion to dispute and remove account on my personal credit report file number XXXX. This account was deleted on XXXX However, the creditor reinserted this inaccurate information. This is a violation of law by Transunion. See FCRA 605B ( 15 U.S.C. 1681 c-2 ) ( a ) Block Except as otherwise provided in this section, a consumer reporting agency shall block the reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from an alleged identity theft, not later than 4 business days after the date of receipt by such agency Based on the date of receipt of my identity theft report, and the date of the deletion being 4 business days apart, this item was initially blocked. First Violation Under section b. requiring notification, I, XXXX XXXX, the consumer, was not notified of the block being requested and the effective dates of the block. Second Violation Authority to Rescind - Because this item was reinserted by the creditor, Transunion used authority to rescind the block. The block was not made in error, the information was not based on a material representation, and I did not receive goods or services, or money as a result of the blocked transactions. The creditor ( XXXX XXXX ) is reporting inaccurate information regarding my personal information, specifically addresses that I am not associated with that Ive had to remove from my personal credit report. Based on this material fact and evidence, Transunions authority to rescind the block was made in error and I request this to be remedied. I have submitted another Identity theft report now that I have become aware of the amount the creditor is reporting.
