This is the second company attempting to collect from an account paid in full from XXXX XXXX. Debt was paid in XXXX. This could have easily been verified by looking at my credit file. Companies buying old debt and NOT verifying if its paid should be illegal. As they are illegally attempting to collect something that has already been paid, thus committing financial fraud.
