Consumer Narrative

I filed a dispute with Equrifax on XX/XX/XXXX they sent me an email saying that they sent my dispute to XXXX XXXX XXXX about 10 to 30 mins later. A few hours later that same day I received a message from Equrifax saying that my dispute results were complete and that I can review my results. Message said XXXX XXXX XXXX sent info verifying the info on my credit report. Nothing changed! How can they verify all the info that was sent to them in a matter of hours? This is my life and my credit report. Being a few days away from turning XXXX XXXX XXXX this may affect the rest of my life and they summed it all up in a few hours. The info that they say was verified is incorrect so I am disputing it once again. The problem : I went to XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX to but a XXXX XXXX XXXX. The car was originally {$8000.00}. XXXX XXXX got me financed thru XXXX XXXX XXXX and when all said and done the total owed now with financing would be over {$11000.00} @ {$310.00} per month due on the XXXXXXXX XXXX of every month beginning XX/XX/XXXX. The first 11 months went smooth. XX/XX/XXXX I was a few days late on my payment. Made the payment within a few days so I wasn't worried because there is suppose to be a 10 day grace period from my due date on the XXXX. In XXXX I couldn't pay and it took me until XX/XX/XXXX to make the XXXX payment as well as the XX/XX/XXXX payment. Still not XXXX late on XXXX so I wasn't worried. 8 or 9 more months went by with all payments current. XX/XX/XXXX I made on XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX I made on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX payment I made on XX/XX/XXXX, all made a few days late but still within the 10day grace period but not 30days late. XXXX and XXXX I have been reported 30 days late 15 time none 30 days late but reported as, most just a few days from XXXX due date within the 10day grace period. On XX/XX/XXXX I went to a car lot to get me another car and got totally embarrassed and degraded by the sales man. He told me of what a horrible payment history I have with XXXX and that no finance company would even finance me because although I had just made my XX/XX/XXXX payment two days ago XXXX and XXXX of XXXX along with XX/XX/XXXX were all reported 30 days late and my account was not showing current. I immediately called XXXX and ask the agent when had I been 30 days late on my account. She gave me all sort of answers but everytime I would give her a date that I paid my car payment which none was XXXX late she changed what she had tobsay and came with something else. Eventually she told me that I had {$74.00} owing in late charges and that if I paid that then my account would reflect current. Again she couldn't tell me when exactly I was 30 days late. I agreed to pay the {$74.00} just to get my account current. I was devastated. About 14 days later I recieved a letter from XXXX stating that I owed {$230.00} in late fees. Immediately I called XXXX again. This agent was worse than the other one because when I questioned her about how could I owe more late fees when I had just paid what late fees that I was told that I owed. She told me that the {$74.00} that I paid went toward my XX/XX/XXXX payment which I had just paid in full on XX/XX/XXXX. Eventually she hungup on me. These calls say that they are recorded so there should be a record of them. Even the summary that XXXX sent me saying that I owed the {$230.00} also shows my full XX/XX/XXXX payment plus the additional {$74.00} that were suppose to be late fees. I have since found out that XXXX has reported some of my payments as not paid, they have combined two payments one which I made at the beginning of the month to a payment that I made at the end of the month and report the earlier payment 30 days late or {$0.00} to the credit bureaus. Per XXXX own words they state that they report to credit bureaus at the end of each month but where the problem is is that if I don't make my payment on the XXXX and make it clearly within the XXXX grace period which would be on the XXXX of the next month with months with 30 days and on the XXXX of the month with months with 31 days but XXXX disregard that and report my account as XXXX late eventhough it's not which is against federal laws. I am including my XXXX XXXX and XXXX payment statement receipt, my XXXX statements for XXXX, XXXX and XXXX because they were all reported as XXXX late on payments when they weren't, my XXXX, XXXX complete statements for those years and XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to show the dates that they were paid. I am also including the payment history that XXXX sent to the credit bureaus as their record of my payment history which you will see compared to my bank statements they don't match but was used as verified by XXXX and XXXX. I also include my written record of payments which matches my bank statements, a printout of XXXX stating when they report to credit bureaus, a copy of my installment agreement with XXXX where you will see my payment date and the 10 grace period. Please please please investigate this to the fullest.
