CCS Collections Agency trying to collect a debt already paid. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for auto insurance payment I purchased on XX/XX/2021 at auto dealer. I paid {$240.00} and I sent a email to XXXX XXXX cancelling the policy XXXX XXXX, on XX/XX/2021. I want validation of this debt. Also CCS Collections is violating my rights 15 U.S. Code 1681a ( 2 ) ( i ) - ( 2 ) Exclusions.Except as provided in paragraph ( 3 ), the term consumer report does not include ( A ) subject to section 1681s3 of this title, any ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report. 15 USC 1681a ( D ) the consumer has a right to prohibit information contained in the consumer 's file with any consumer reporting agency from being used in connection with any credit or insurance transaction that is not initiated by the consumer ; and ( E ) the consumer may exercise the right referred to in subparagraph ( D ) by notifying a notification system established under section 1681b ( e ) of this title. 15 USC 1681a ( m ) Credit or Insurance Transaction That Is Not Initiated by the Consumer.-The term " credit or insurance transaction that is not initiated by the consumer '' does not include the use of a consumer report by a person with which the consumer has an account or insurance policy, for purposes of- ( 1 ) reviewing the account or insurance policy ; or ( 2 ) collecting the account.
