Transunion is not abiding by consumer law and is severely harming my reputation by leaving fraudulent accounts showing on my consumer report. Transunion at the address of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. There are two fraudulent repossessed car loans and hard/regular inquiries that are reporting on my credit report and file. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX These are not transactions made by me as the consumer. The hard inquiry of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is also not mine. I have filed an FTC identity theft report, handwrote a letter and certified mailed it to all CRA 's. TRANSUNION has not removed these accounts/hard inquiries within the allotted time period, and though I have made numerous calls to them there has been no remedy. I have been put on mute by supervisors, put on hold by supervisors who didn't return to the phone for an absurd amount of time, and have been told numerous times that they have a 30 day policy in removing items from my report ; however, 15 USC 1981c-2 STATES ( a ) Block Except as otherwise provided in this section, a consumer reporting agency shall block the reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from an alleged identity theft, not later than 4 business days after the date of receipt by such agency of ( 1 ) appropriate proof of the identity of the consumer ; ( 2 ) a copy of an identity theft report ; ( 3 ) the identification of such information by the consumer ; and ( 4 ) a statement by the consumer that the information is not information relating to any transaction by the consume.
