I found a company called GLA Collections on my credit report around the first of XX/XX/2022. It was for the amount of {$1000.00}. It was medical in nature. I never received any previous bills for this amount, nor any mail correspondence from this company. I first checked with my hospital and they do not have any record of a missed bill for this amount. I called GLA and they sent me a generic computerized " bill '' for the amount they say I owe. I sent back a letter from the Fair Credit Reporting Act asking GLA to send me an itemized bill from the original creditor, with my signature, and for the services rendered. I sent this letter certified mail on XX/XX/2022. GLA 's response was a duplicate generic computerized bill with only their name and the amount owed. I have had a credit repair agency working to help dispute this collections, but now a year later, GLA has still not removed it from my credit report. This is the only blemish on my credit report and is keeping me from getting needed financing for a new business.
