Here are my tracking numbers : XXXX XXXX XXXX However, it has been more than 35 days and the credit bureaus failed to send me my investigation back. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act. The List of accounts below has violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 1681. ( a ) ( 5 ) Section States : no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years. 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted a complaint due to improper use of my credit report by XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax. Today is XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and I have not received anything in regards to the fraudulent items being removed from my credit report. After submitting identitytheft.gov affidavit more than 3 times- I still have no response. I have requested to receive validation made pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ; that is competent evidence bearing my signature, showing that I have ( or ever had ) some contractual obligation. Please also be aware that the negative marks found on my credit reports ( including XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax ). As a victim of identity theft, the credit bureaus have continued to defame my name, provide negligent enablement of Identity Fraud and violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Tracking number sent Certified Mail Receipt from XXXX Equifax XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The credit bureaus stated my accounts were investigated but how is it possible when the open dates are inaccurate, the last active is inaccurate, the date last reported is incorrect. This is grounds for removal as well as my rights being violated under 15 USC 1681 section 602 A : I have a right to privacy. 15 USC 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. As well as taking more than 30 days to respond from my initial request for validation. This identity theft has resulted in loss of funds and lending. This identity theft process has taken longer than 120 days. I was told by the FTC that t should only take 4 days. But it has been longer than 120 and the fraudulent items are still on my report. Upon calling Equifax I was told there is nothing they can do even though my Identity Theft affidavits, Drivers License, Current credit report and verification of my address has been provided. I have faxed documentation as well as provided the police report information to help support my identity theft claim. Because of this ongoing identity theft issue have lost over {$80000.00} and have been denied funding by multiple lenders. Hindering my every day life.
