I am attempting to buy a car, and the lender is attempting to pull my credit report but they are unable to pull my experian record because it's " Frozen ''. When I log into Experian to manage the freeze, it shows my report is frozen. When I click the button to unfreeze it, it just gives me an error and says to contact Customer Service. I've contacted Customer Service three times, who each time tell me the freeze has been lifted, or that there is no freeze, yet all of the lenders are receiving an error that my Experian file is frozen. This creates a very serious problem as Experian doesn't seem to see any freezes, yet nobody can run my credit because Experian is reporting frozen to the lenders. At this point in time, I can not apply for any credit, for anything, and Experian doesn't see any problems on their end.
